Open the Mopeka Tank Check app, press and hold the SYNC button on the sensor for up to 10 seconds until it appears in the app. Ensure your smart device Bluetooth is enabled in an area free of any explosive atmosphere.
The sensor must be installed on the exact bottom center of the tank. For steel tanks, it uses built-in magnets; for aluminum, you will need the collar set. Always apply the included ultrasonic grease to the center pad to ensure accuracy.
A low quality indicator (1 star or less) typically means the sensor is not completely level, is off-center, lacks adequate sonic grease, or there is debris on the tank bottom. Reposition the sensor and evaluate the signal strength again.
The Mopeka M1015 Pro sensors require two AAA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. The M1017 Pro sensors require one CR2032 3V coin cell battery. Battery requirements vary by model, so please refer to your specific manual.
