Introduction
The SmallRig AP255Pro is a compact and portable carbon fiber travel tripod designed for photographers and videographers. It features a 5-section leg design and a fluid head, offering stability and versatility for various shooting scenarios.

The tripod legs are compatible with various heads and stabilizers via 3/8''-16 threaded holes, supporting an 8kg (17lb) maximum payload. The tripod head accommodates mirrorless cameras, camera cages, and phones using 1/4''-20 threaded holes and the included phone clamp.

Instructions d'installation
1. Extending the Tripod Legs
Unlock the leg sections by twisting the leg locks. Extend each of the 5 leg sections to the desired length. Twist the locks in the opposite direction to secure them. Ensure all leg sections are fully locked before use.

To adjust the height of the center column, loosen the center column lock, raise or lower the column, and then tighten the lock securely. For low-angle shots, the center column can be inverted. Loosen the center column lock, remove the column, flip it upside down, and reinsert it, then secure the lock.
3. Leveling the Tripod with the Bowl Base
The tripod features a bowl base for quick leveling. After setting up the legs, use the bowl base adjustment to fine-tune the head's level without needing to adjust each leg individually. This is particularly useful on uneven terrain.
4. Connexion de votre appareil
The fluid head includes a quick release plate. Attach this plate to your camera or camera cage using the 1/4''-20 threaded screw. For smartphones, use the provided phone holder, which also attaches to the quick release plate. Once attached, slide the quick release plate with your device into the head and secure it with the quick release plate lock.

1. Using the Fluid Head
The fluid head allows for smooth panning and tilting movements. Use the pan lock to control horizontal rotation (360 degrees) and the tilt lock to control vertical movement (90 degrees overhead, 65 degrees upward). Loosen the respective locks for movement and tighten them to secure the position.
2. Carbon Fiber Leg Design
The tripod legs are constructed from carbon fiber, providing a balance of portability and stability. The maximum leg diameter is 25.5mm (1 inch).
Entretien

- Leg sections are stiff: Clean the leg sections and locks to remove any dirt or debris. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the moving parts if needed.
