3. Configuration et installation
Follow these steps to correctly install the airdrop system on your DJI Mini 5 Pro drone:
- Prepare the Propeller Restraint Assembly: Pull the orange buttons on both sides of the propeller restraint assembly to open its stand.
- Attach the Assembly to the Drone: Slide both bracket sections of the propeller restraint assembly through the sides of the drone's body and snap them into place. Ensure a stable fit that prevents wobbling or loosening. This assembly does not obstruct the drone's visual positioning sensors.
- Align the Light Attachment: The light attachment on the airdrop system must align with the drone's light unit. Ensure both the upper and lower brackets are fully engaged.
- Install the Dispenser Module: Install the dispenser module into the bracket as shown in the accompanying image.
- Adjust the Hook: Check and use the side button on the dispenser module to adjust the hook so that it faces upward, ready to hold the payload.
- Attach Payload: Attach the payload to the drone using a rope and position it at the rear of the drone. The combined weight of the deployer and propeller restraint assembly is approximately 49g.

4.1. Remote Control Setup (DJI RC 2 / RC N2)
