  4. Turn off the sprayer and return the prime valve to the 'Spray' position.

4. Mode d'emploi

Suivez ces étapes pour une pulvérisation efficace et sûre.

4.1 Preparing the Paint

Ensure paint is properly mixed and strained to remove any lumps or debris that could clog the sprayer.

4.2 Technique de pulvérisation

  1. Tenez le pistolet à peinture perpendiculaire à la surface, en maintenant une distance constante (généralement 10 à 12 pouces).
  2. Move the gun at a steady pace, overlapping each pass by approximately 50%.
  3. Release the trigger at the end of each pass to avoid excessive paint buildup.

4.3 Adjusting Pressure and Tip

Adjust the pressure control knob to achieve the desired spray pattern. Higher viscosity materials typically require higher pressure. Select the appropriate spray tip (e.g., RAC X LP 515) for your material and application.

4.4 Arrêt

  1. Éteignez le pulvérisateur.
  2. Verrouillez la gâchette du pistolet pulvérisateur.
  3. Relieve system pressure by turning the prime valve to the 'Prime' position and holding the gun over a waste pail until pressure is released.

5. Entretien

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your sprayer.

5.1 Nettoyage après chaque utilisation

  1. Flush the system with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints).
  2. Remove the spray tip and tip guard, clean them thoroughly.
  3. Clean the gun filter and main filter.
  4. Circulate cleaning solution through the sprayer until it runs clear.
