Installation
1. Installation de la batterie
The SHARP EL531XTWH calculator is twin-powered, operating on solar energy with a battery backup. A 1.5V LR44 battery is included. If the display becomes dim or unresponsive in low light, the battery may need replacement.
- Turn the calculator OFF.

- Carefully open the battery cover using a small screwdriver or coin.
- Remove the old battery (if applicable) and insert a new LR44 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).

2. Vérification initiale de la mise sous tension et de l'affichage
Appuyez sur le MARCHE/C key to turn on the calculator. The display should show "0." or "0.00" depending on the initial settings. If the display is blank or shows unusual characters, ensure the battery is correctly installed and try pressing the RÉINITIALISER button (usually a small recessed button requiring a thin object like a paperclip).

1. Basic Arithmetic Operations
Enter numbers and operations in the order they appear. The Direct Algebraic Logic (D.A.L.) system allows for natural input.

2. Function Keys Overview

Fonctions trigonométriques
