This section outlines the steps for installing the PROFLO Reston PF2412 toilet tank onto a compatible toilet bowl.

Ensure the toilet bowl is securely installed to the floor flange and the wax ring is properly seated. Clean the top surface of the toilet bowl where the tank will rest.
Step 2: Install the Tank-to-Bowl Gasket
Place the large rubber tank-to-bowl gasket over the flush valve opening on the underside of the toilet tank. Ensure it is seated firmly and evenly.

Step 3: Position the Tank
Carefully lift the toilet tank and align the bolt holes on the bottom of the tank with the corresponding holes on the back of the toilet bowl. Gently lower the tank onto the bowl, ensuring the gasket creates a seal.
Step 4: Secure the Tank
Insert the tank-to-bowl bolts through the holes in the tank and bowl. Place a rubber washer, then a metal washer, and finally a nut onto each bolt from underneath the bowl. Hand-tighten the nuts initially. Then, using a wrench, alternately tighten each nut a quarter turn at a time until the tank is snug and stable.
