5. Installation

5.1 Installation de la batterie

1. Assurez-vous que la radio est éteinte.
2. Alignez la batterie avec les rainures à l’arrière de la radio.
3. Faites glisser la batterie vers le haut jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'enclenche.

1. Connect the AC power adapter to the charger cradle.

3. Place the radio (with battery installed) into the charger cradle. Ensure the charging contacts align.
4. The charging indicator light on the cradle will illuminate (typically red for charging, green for fully charged).

5.3 Fixation de l'antenne

Attach the belt clip to the designated screws on the back of the radio. The hand strap can be looped through the eyelet on the side or top of the radio for secure carrying.

6.1 Marche/Arrêt et contrôle du volume

Rotate the power/volume knob (typically the left knob on top) clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn the radio off.

6.2 Sélection du canal

Rotate the channel selector knob (typically the right knob on top) to select the desired communication channel. The selected channel number will be displayed on the screen. The LP-66 supports up to 400 channels.

6.3 Transmission et réception

• Réception: Lorsque la radio est allumée et réglée sur une fréquence active, elle reçoit automatiquement les transmissions entrantes. Le haut-parleur diffuse alors le son.
• Transmission : To transmit, press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button, usually located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone, holding the radio approximately 2-5 cm from your mouth. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and return to receive mode.

The LP-66 features a basic keypad for additional functions. Refer to the on-screen prompts or specific programming instructions for advanced features such as frequency input, scanning, or squelch level adjustment.
