3. Configuration et installation
3.1 Installation de la batterie et de la carte SD
- Insérer la batterie rechargeable : Open the battery compartment on the camera. Insert the provided Defend rechargeable battery. Ensure proper orientation. The camera can also be powered by AA batteries (not included) or optional solar accessories.

To activate and manage your camera, download the official TACTACAM Defend app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to register your camera and select a cellular subscription plan. Plans start from $5 per month.

4. Fonctionnement
4.1 Motion Activation and Notifications
The TACTACAM Defend camera features motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will capture images or video and send notifications to your smartphone via the cellular network. The frequency and type of notifications depend on your selected subscription plan.

Access captured images and videos directly through the TACTACAM Defend app. Depending on your subscription, you can receive monthly photo notifications, access cloud storage, and download HD videos and photos on demand.

- Plus Plan: An add-on that requires a Starter or Pro Camera Plan. It offers unlimited remote downloads of HD video and photos, on-demand videos and photos, and 1-year cloud storage per account.

5. Entretien
5.1 Gestion de la batterie
Monitor the battery level through the TACTACAM Defend app. Rechargeable batteries should be charged as needed. If using AA batteries, replace them when depleted. Consider using optional solar panels for continuous power and reduced battery changes.

Periodically check the SD card storage capacity. While cloud storage is available with a subscription, the SD card provides local backup. Format the SD card through the app or by removing it and formatting it on a computer if necessary.
