Modèle: 9120129864978

1. Introduction

Welcome to the world of high-fidelity audio with your new Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 Audiophile Turntable. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your turntable to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Please read it thoroughly before first use.

The Debut EVO 2 features a carbon fiber tonearm, electronic speed selection, and a pre-mounted Pick it MM EVO cartridge, designed for exceptional sound reproduction.

2. Installation

Proper setup is crucial for the best sound quality and to prevent damage to your turntable and records.

2.1 Déballage et placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the original packaging for future transport or service. Place the turntable on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and vibrations.

2.3 Configuration du bras de lecture et de la cellule

The Debut EVO 2 comes with a pre-mounted Pick it MM EVO cartridge. Follow these steps for tonearm setup:

  1. Réglage du contrepoids : Gently push the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm. With the anti-skating weight removed, balance the tonearm so it floats freely and horizontally. Lock the tonearm in its rest.
  2. Paramètre de force de suivi : Rotate the tracking force scale ring to '0' while holding the counterweight steady. Then, rotate the counterweight (and scale ring) counter-clockwise until the desired tracking force (typically 1.8g for the Pick it MM EVO) is indicated.
  3. Réglage anti-patinage : Attach the anti-skating weight to the small groove on the anti-skating stub. The recommended setting for the Pick it MM EVO cartridge is the second groove from the tonearm pivot.

2.4 Connexions

Connect the supplied phono cable to the RCA output jacks on the rear of the turntable and to the phono input (or line input via a phono preamplifier) of your amplifier. Ensure the ground wire is connected to the ground terminal on your ampAmplificateur pour minimiser le bourdonnement.

Branchez l'adaptateur secteur à l'entrée d'alimentation de la platine, puis à une prise murale appropriée.
