3. Configuration et installation
3.1 Déballage et inspection
Carefully remove the pump from its packaging. Inspect the pump for any signs of shipping damage. If damage is found, contact your supplier immediately.
3.2 Localisation
Install the pump as close to the pool as possible to minimize friction loss from long suction lines. Ensure the location is well-ventilated, protected from excessive moisture, and allows for adequate access for maintenance.

3.3 Connexions de plomberie
The pump features 2" BSP threaded inlet/outlet ports. Unions for 50mm or 63mm pipe connections are included. Use appropriate thread sealant on all connections to ensure a watertight seal. Avoid overtightening connections.

3.4 Connexions électriques
All electrical wiring must be performed by a licensed electrician. Ensure the power supply matches the pump's voltage requirements (1.1 Kilovolts). The pump must be properly grounded and bonded according to local electrical codes.
4. Mode d'emploi
4.1 Amorçage de la pompe
Before initial startup, ensure the pump is filled with water. Remove the skimmer basket lid, fill the pump basket with water, and replace the lid securely. The WhisperFlo VS2m features fast self-priming capabilities.

The pump features a simple and intuitive LCD screen displaying power, speed, and time. It includes three programmable speeds/times plus an override function.

4.3 Programming Speeds and Times
- Press the "Speed" button to cycle through available speeds or to enter programming mode.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the desired speed (RPM) or time duration.
- The LCD will display the current power consumption (Watts), speed, and remaining time.
- The pump supports 4 digital inputs for external control (optional communication cable PN. 356324Z).
4.4 Override Function
The override function allows for temporary operation at a specific speed, bypassing the programmed schedule. Refer to the on-screen instructions for activation.
5. Entretien
5.1 Skimmer Basket Cleaning
Regularly inspect and clean the pump's skimmer basket. Turn off the pump, release pressure, remove the lid, empty debris, and replace the basket and lid securely.

5.2 Hivérisation
In freezing climates, proper winterization is crucial. Drain all water from the pump and plumbing lines. Store the pump in a dry, protected area if necessary.
5.3 Entretien général
Keep the pump area clean and free of debris. Periodically check for leaks and ensure all connections are tight. The pump is constructed with stainless steel components for durability and has a salt resistance of 0.40%.
