Installation

1. Déballage et inspection : Retirez soigneusement le générateur et tous ses composants de l'emballage. Vérifiez qu'il n'a pas subi de dommages liés au transport.
2. Ajouter de l'huile moteur : The generator is shipped without engine oil. Place the generator on a level surface. Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick. Using the provided oil funnel, slowly add the recommended amount and type of oil (refer to specifications for details) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
3. Connectez la batterie : Connect the battery cables to the generator's battery terminals, ensuring correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
4. Ajouter du carburant (essence) : If using gasoline, ensure the generator is off and cool. Open the fuel cap and carefully pour fresh, unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank. Do not overfill. Close the fuel cap securely.
5. Connect Propane (LPG): If using propane, connect the provided LPG regulator hose to a propane tank and then to the generator's propane inlet. Ensure all connections are tight. Open the valve on the propane tank.

Mode d'emploi

1. Liste de contrôle avant démarrage :
   • Vérifiez le niveau d'huile moteur.
   • Ensure sufficient fuel (gasoline or propane).
   • Vérifiez que toutes les charges électriques sont déconnectées du générateur.
   • Ensure the generator is on a level, outdoor surface, away from any enclosures.
2. Starting the Generator (Gasoline):
   • Tournez le robinet d'essence sur la position « ON ».
   • Set the choke lever to 'CHOKE' (if engine is cold).
   • Press the electric start button or use the remote key fob.
   • Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to 'RUN'.
3. Starting the Generator (Propane):
   • Assurez-vous que la vanne du réservoir de propane est ouverte.
   • Set the fuel selector switch to 'PROPANE'.
   • Press the electric start button or use the remote key fob.
4. Fuel Sense Technology: This generator features Fuel Sense technology, which automatically switches fuel intake between gasoline and propane/LPG to extend runtime. The generator will prioritize the selected fuel source and switch if one runs out.

Entretien

• Bougie d'allumage: Inspect and clean the spark plug every 100 hours or annually. Replace if worn.
• Filtre à carburant : Inspect and replace the fuel filter as needed, typically annually.
• Stockage: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor (if using gasoline) or ensure the propane system is disconnected. Remove the spark plug and pour a small amount of engine oil into the cylinder, then pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute the oil.
