3. Installation

The ToughBuilt 9-inch Lighted Magnetic Box Level requires 2 AAA batteries (included) to power the LED-lit vials. To install or replace batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the side or back of the level.

3. For vertical (plumb) surfaces, observe the bubble in the vertical vial. The surface is plumb when the bubble is centered between the two indicator lines.
