3. Mode d'emploi

3.1. Afficher plusview

The main display unit shows various information:

  • Heure et date : Automatically set by the DCF-77 radio signal, with manual adjustment options.

  • Température extérieure : Current temperature from the TX9016 sensor, including temperature trend.

The device automatically synchronizes with the DCF-77 radio signal. In case of reception issues or for specific time zone adjustments, manual setting is possible. Refer to the device's buttons (usually labeled 'SET', 'MODE', etc.) for navigation and adjustment.

3.3. Viewing Rainfall History

Use the designated buttons on the display unit to cycle through the 7 different historical rainfall periods. This allows you to track precipitation over various durations.

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in both the main unit and the TX9016 outdoor sensor. Use 2 AA Mignon LR06 batteries for each unit. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed properly after replacement to maintain weather resistance for the outdoor sensor.

4.2. Cleaning the Rain Sensor

5.1. No Outdoor Temperature/Rainfall Data

  • Perform a manual search for the outdoor sensor on the main unit (refer to specific button labels like 'SCAN' or 'CHANNEL' on the back of the unit).

5.2. Inaccurate Rainfall Readings

  • Verify the outdoor sensor is mounted perfectly level. Use a spirit level if available.
  • Check the rain collection funnel and tipping bucket for any blockages or debris.
  • Ensure the tipping bucket mechanism moves freely.

5.3. Heure/Date incorrecte

  • Ensure the main unit is placed in an area with good reception for the DCF-77 radio signal. Avoid proximity to electronic devices that may cause interference.
  • If automatic synchronization fails, manually set the time and date.
