This manual provides instructions for the Chtoocy Solar Wireless Driveway Alarm System, designed to detect motion and alert you to activity in monitored areas. The system includes a receiver and motion sensors, offering customizable alerts and easy installation for various outdoor and indoor applications.

3.1 Capteur de mouvement

The motion sensor is a solar-powered, weatherproof unit designed for outdoor use. It features a solar panel for continuous charging, a motion detection eye, and adjustable settings for sensitivity and LED indicator.

The receiver is the central unit that receives signals from the motion sensors and provides audible and visual alerts. It can be powered by AC or 4 AA batteries and features individual indicators for up to four sensors, volume control, and tone selection.

4. Instructions de configuration

4.1 Charge initiale

Before first use, ensure both the receiver and sensors are fully charged. The sensors come with approximately 20% charge from the factory.

• Capteurs: Connect the charging cable to the sensor's charging port. A red light will flash during charging, turning green when fully charged.
• Récepteur: Connect the receiver to AC power using the provided adapter. The receiver can also operate on 4 AA batteries for portability.

4.2 Installation du capteur

Install the sensors in your desired outdoor locations. Use the included screwdriver to secure the base plate, then attach the sensor. The ball-joint design allows for angle adjustment to optimize detection.

4.3 Appairage des capteurs avec le récepteur

To pair a new sensor with the receiver:

1. Press and hold the 'PAIRED' button on the receiver until it enters pairing mode (you may hear a sound).
2. While in pairing mode, press the 'TONES' button to select a desired alarm tone for this sensor.
3. Wave your hand in front of the sensor to trigger it. The sensor's light will illuminate, and the receiver will ring with the selected tone, indicating successful pairing.
4. Short press the 'POWER' button on the receiver to exit pairing mode.

4.4 Adding Additional Receivers

To add a new receiver to an existing system:

1. Ensure the new receiver is connected to AC power and turned on.
2. Press and hold the 'PAIRED' button on the new receiver until it enters pairing mode.
3. Press the 'TONES' button to select a desired alarm tone.
4. Wave your hand in front of an already paired sensor. The sensor's light will illuminate, and the new receiver will ring, indicating successful pairing.
5. Short press the 'POWER' button on the new receiver to exit pairing mode.

5. Fonctionnement

5.1 Mise sous/hors tension

• Capteurs: Long press the power button on the sensor for 3 seconds to turn it on or off.
• Récepteur: Long press the power button on the receiver for 3 seconds to turn it on or off.

5.2 Réglage de la sensibilité

The sensors offer three sensitivity levels (High, Medium, Low) to minimize false alarms from small animals or environmental factors. The maximum detection range is 33 feet on high sensitivity.

• Moyen (M) : 0-25 pieds
• Faible (L) : 0-15 pieds

Adjust the sensitivity switch located on the sensor unit to your preferred setting.

5.3 Customizing Alarm Tones

The receiver offers 12 different alarm tones. You can assign a unique tone to each sensor (up to 4) to identify which zone has been triggered.

1. First, clear any existing pairing history by pressing the 'POWER' and 'PAIRED' buttons simultaneously on the receiver until the screen flashes.
2. Long press the 'PAIRED' button to enter pairing mode.
3. Press the 'TONES' button to cycle through and select your desired music/tone for the current sensor.
4. Wave your hand in front of the sensor to send the signal. The receiver will play the selected tone and the corresponding number will flash, indicating successful assignment.

5.4 Réglage du volume

The receiver has four volume levels, including a mute option. Use the volume buttons on the receiver to adjust the sound output.

5.5 LED Indicator Control

The sensor has an LED indicator that illuminates upon detection. This can be turned ON or OFF for privacy using the switch on the sensor unit.

6.1 Charge solaire

The sensors are equipped with solar panels and rechargeable batteries, providing up to 24 months of operation on a full charge. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging. For charging, the sensor can be easily removed from its mounted base by rotating it.

6.2 Nettoyage

Periodically clean the solar panel and motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal performance. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

• No Detection/False Alarms: Adjust the sensor's sensitivity level (High, Medium, Low) to suit the environment. Ensure the sensor is not pointed directly at moving foliage or heat sources.
• Problèmes de couplage : Ensure both the sensor and receiver are powered on and within range. Clear the receiver's history before attempting to re-pair. Follow the pairing steps carefully.
• Portée limitée : The system has a 1/2 mile wireless transmission range. Obstacles like thick walls, large metal objects, or dense vegetation can reduce this range. Try repositioning the sensor or receiver to improve signal strength.
• Pas d'alimentation : Ensure sensors are adequately charged via solar power or the charging cable. Check receiver's AC connection or replace AA batteries if applicable.
