1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your AVI-8 P-51 Mustang Blakeslee AV-4077 Chronograph Pilot Watch. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use and longevity of your timepiece.

The AVI-8 P-51 Mustang Blakeslee watch features a 43mm stainless steel case with a black PVD finish and a scratch-resistant mineral crystal lens with anti-reflective coating. 3. Installation

3.1 Configuration initiale et réglage de l'heure

1. Before setting the time, ensure any plastic tab protecting the crown is removed.
2. Gently pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) out to its outermost position. This will stop the second hand.
3. Tournez la couronne dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire pour régler les aiguilles des heures et des minutes sur l'heure souhaitée.

4. Utilisation du chronographe

Your AVI-8 AV-4077 watch features a chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The chronograph typically uses dedicated pushers on the side of the watch case.

4.1 Démarrage et arrêt du chronographe

1. Press the top pusher (usually located at the 2 o'clock position) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
2. To stop the chronograph, press the top pusher again. The chronograph hands will stop, indicating the elapsed time.

4.2 Remise à zéro du chronographe

1. After stopping the chronograph, press the bottom pusher (usually located at the 4 o'clock position) to reset the chronograph hands to their zero positions.

5.1 Résistance à l'eau

Your AVI-8 AV-4077 watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, or washing hands. It is NOT suitable for diving, snorkeling, or prolonged water exposure. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5.2 Nettoyage

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. Clean with a damp Essuyez avec un chiffon et laissez sécher à l'air libre.

1. Pull the crown out to the outermost position (time setting position).
2. Press the top pusher repeatedly to advance the chronograph second hand until it aligns with the 12 o'clock position.
3. If other chronograph sub-dials are misaligned, use the bottom pusher to adjust them to their zero positions.
