1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sharp SPC5026AMZ Digital Alarm Clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and longevity.

Note: 3 x AAA batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.
3. Installation
3.1 Installation de la batterie
- Repérez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à l'arrière de l'horloge.
- Remove the cover by sliding it downwards or lifting it.
- Insert three (3) new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Remettez le couvercle du compartiment à piles.
The clock will power on automatically after battery installation.

4. Mode d'emploi
Refer to Figure 2 for button locations on the back of the clock.
4.1 Réglage de l'heure et de la date
- Faites glisser le ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH au TEMPS position.
- Appuyez sur le HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON pour régler l'heure.
- Appuyez sur le MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON pour régler les minutes.
- Appuyez sur le 12/24 HR TIME YEAR SELECTION BUTTON to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
- Faites glisser le ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH au DATE position.
- Appuyez sur le HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON pour ajuster le mois.
- Appuyez sur le MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON pour ajuster la date.
- Appuyez sur le 12/24 HR TIME YEAR SELECTION BUTTON pour ajuster l'année.
- Once time and date are set, slide the ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH retour à la COURIR position.
4.2 Réglage de l'alarme
- Faites glisser le ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH au ALARME position.
- Appuyez sur le HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON pour régler l'heure du réveil.
- Appuyez sur le MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON pour régler la minute de l'alarme.
- Faites glisser le INTERRUPTEUR MARCHE/ARRÊT D'ALARME à ON to activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
- Pour désactiver l'alarme, faites glisser le INTERRUPTEUR MARCHE/ARRÊT D'ALARME à DÉSACTIVÉL'icône d'alarme disparaîtra.
- Once the alarm is set, slide the ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH retour à la COURIR position.
4.3 Fonction de répétition
Lorsque l'alarme sonne, appuyez sur le grand bouton. SNOOZE / LUMIERE button on the top of the clock. The alarm will pause for approximately 9 minutes before sounding again.
4.4 Nightlight and Backlight
The clock features two illumination options:
- Built-in Display Nightlight: Faites glisser le LOW LIGHT NIGHTTIME VIEWING BACKLIGHT ON/OFF SWITCH au dos de l'horloge à ON for a continuous, low-level illumination of the display. Slide to DÉSACTIVÉ pour désactiver.
- On-Demand White Backlight: Appuyez sur le grand SNOOZE / LUMIERE button on the top of the clock for 5 seconds of bright white backlight. This is useful for quick viewdans des conditions d'obscurité.

4.5 Affichage de la température
The clock displays the indoor temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). To switch between units, press the MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON tandis que le ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH est dans le COURIR position.

6. Entretien
6.1 Nettoyage
Essuyez l'horloge avec un chiffon doux et sec. N'utilisez pas de produits nettoyants abrasifs ni de solvants, car ils pourraient endommager la surface.
6.2 Remplacement de la batterie
Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically. Always replace all three batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries. Remove batteries if the clock will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
