4. Configuration et appairage
The BS-PTT device offers two primary methods for pairing with your radio: via a mobile application or directly through the radio's control panel.
4.1. Pairing via Mobile App (Recommended for GMRS-PRO)
- Ensure your BTECH GMRS-PRO radio is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled.
- Open the GMRS-PRO mobile application on your smartphone.
- Navigate to the Bluetooth settings within the app.
- Press and hold the PTT button on the BS-PTT device until the indicator light flashes red, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Select the BS-PTT device from the list of available Bluetooth devices in the app to complete pairing.
4.2. Pairing via Radio Panel (For UV-PRO and other compatible radios)
- Power on your BTECH UV-PRO radio and ensure Bluetooth is active.
- Access the Bluetooth menu on your radio's display.
- Initiate a device search from the radio's menu.
- Press and hold the PTT button on the BS-PTT device until the indicator light flashes red.
- Select the BS-PTT device from the list displayed on your radio's screen to establish the connection.

5. Mode d'emploi
Once successfully paired, the BS-PTT device functions as a remote Push-to-Talk button for your radio, enabling communication through a connected HFP-compatible Bluetooth headset or audio system.
- Ensure your radio and paired Bluetooth headset are powered on and connected.
- To transmit, press and hold the PTT button on the BS-PTT device. Speak clearly into your Bluetooth headset's microphone.

6. Installation et montage

- Index Finger: Wrap the strap around your index finger for quick, accessible PTT activation.
- Car Steering Wheel: Secure the device to your car's steering wheel for easy access while driving.

- Motorcycle/Bicycle Handlebar: Mount the PTT button on handlebars for hands-free communication during rides.

7. Entretien
7.1. Remplacement de la batterie
The BS-PTT device uses a CR1632 button battery. When the device no longer powers on or exhibits inconsistent performance, the battery may need replacement.
- Repérez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à l'arrière de l'appareil.
- Carefully twist the cover counter-clockwise to open. It may be tight; use a non-abrasive tool if necessary, taking care not to damage the device.
- Retirez l'ancienne pile CR1632.
- Insérez une nouvelle pile CR1632 avec le côté positif (+) vers le haut.
- Remettez le couvercle en place et tournez-le dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour le fixer.
Note: Jetez les vieilles piles de manière responsable conformément aux réglementations locales.
7.2. Nettoyage et entretien
Pour préserver les performances et l'apparence de l'appareil :
- Essuyez l'appareil avec un chiffon doux, damp chiffon. Évitez les produits chimiques agressifs ou les nettoyants abrasifs.
- Ensure the battery compartment is sealed properly to maintain its IP54 waterproof rating.
- Rangez l'appareil dans un endroit frais et sec lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.
