Installation

1. Installation de la batterie

To install or replace the CR123A battery:

1. Unscrew the front cap of the light by rotating it counter-clockwise.
2. Insert one CR123A lithium battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the light head.
3. Screw the front cap back on clockwise until it is fully tightened.

2. Montage sur l'arme à feu

The TLR-8 X G sub features a robust rail clamp system for secure attachment without tools.

2. Align the light's rail clamp with the accessory rail on your Sig Sauer P365/XL Closed Rail handgun.
3. Press the light firmly onto the rail and engage the clamp. The system is designed for quick attachment and detachment.

Mode d'emploi

1. Activating Light and Laser

The TLR-8 X G sub features a rear paddle switch for activation. The unit offers three primary modes:

• LED Light Only: Press and release the paddle switch for momentary on. Press and release again to turn off. For constant on, press and hold the switch until the light activates, then release.
• LED Light & Laser Combo: This mode combines the powerful LED light with the green aiming laser. Activation is similar to LED Light Only.
• Laser uniquement : This mode allows independent operation of the green laser for pinpoint targeting.

2. Safe Off Feature (Lockout/Unlock)

The Safe Off feature prevents unintentional activation, conserving battery life and ensuring the light or laser is ready when needed. This is achieved by slightly unscrewing the front cap.

1. Pour verrouiller : Once the front cap is fully tightened (light operational), rotate it counter-clockwise by approximately an eighth of a turn. You will feel a slight detent. In this position, pressing the paddle switch will not activate the light or laser.
2. Pour déverrouiller : Rotate the front cap clockwise until it is fully tightened. The light will now be operational.

3. Laser Adjustment

The green aiming laser can be adjusted for windage and elevation to ensure accurate targeting. Adjustment screws are located on the side and bottom of the unit.

Use the provided tool to make fine adjustments. Always perform adjustments in a safe environment and verify zero with live fire if possible.

Entretien

1. Nettoyage

Regularly clean the lens with a soft, clean cloth to maintain optimal light output. For the body of the unit, use a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

2. Remplacement de la batterie

Replace the CR123A battery when the light output diminishes or the laser becomes dim. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.

Dépannage

• Light/Laser Not Activating:
  • Ensure the front cap is fully tightened. If it's slightly unscrewed, the Safe Off feature will prevent activation.
  • Check the battery. Replace with a fresh CR123A battery if needed.
  • Verify battery orientation. The positive (+) end should face the light head.
• Laser Adjustment Issues:
  • If the windage or elevation adjustment screw feels stripped or does not respond, cease adjustment and contact Streamlight customer support.
• Fonctionnement intermittent :
  • Ensure the light is securely mounted to the rail. Loose connections can cause intermittent power.
  • Check battery contacts for corrosion or debris. Clean if necessary.
