1. Introduction

The artfone C1 is a mobile phone designed for ease of use, particularly for seniors. It features large buttons, a clear display with large fonts, high volume, and essential safety functions like an SOS button. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

4. Installation

4.1 Insertion de la carte SIM et de la batterie

Before using your phone, you need to insert the SIM card(s) and battery.

1. Retirez la coque arrière du téléphone.
2. Carefully insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s). The phone supports Dual SIM.
3. Insérez la pile en veillant à ce que les contacts soient correctement alignés.
4. Remettez le couvercle arrière en place.

4.2 Chargement de l'appareil

To charge your artfone C1:

1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the phone's charging port or place the phone in the charging dock.
2. Connectez l’autre extrémité du câble à un adaptateur secteur et branchez-le sur une prise murale.
3. L'icône de la batterie sur l'écran indiquera l'état de charge.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1 Fonctions d'appel de base

• Passer un appel : Saisissez le numéro de téléphone à l'aide du clavier et appuyez sur le bouton d'appel vert.
• Recevoir un appel : Press the green call button to answer an incoming call.
• Terminer un appel : Appuyez sur le bouton rouge de fin d'appel.

5.2 Fonction d'urgence SOS

The SOS button on the back of the phone is a critical safety feature.

1. Configuration des numéros SOS : You can set up to 5 emergency contacts. Navigate to Settings > SOS Setting > SOS Number Setting to add contacts.
2. Activation de SOS : In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds. The phone will automatically call the saved emergency contacts and send a predefined SMS message.

5.3 Numérotation abrégée

The artfone C1 supports speed dial for quick access to frequently called numbers.

• You can assign contacts to specific number keys for quick dialing.
• To use, press and hold the assigned number key to call the contact.

5.4 Réglage du volume

The phone offers high volume for clear conversations. Use the dedicated volume buttons on the side of the device to adjust the call volume during a conversation or media volume when playing audio.

5.5 Lampe de poche

To activate the built-in flashlight, locate the dedicated flashlight button on the side of the phone and slide it or press it as indicated on the device. The flashlight can illuminate up to 10 meters.

5.6 Radio FM

The artfone C1 includes an integrated FM radio. You can listen to your favorite stations without needing headphones.

6. Entretien

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your artfone C1:

• Conservez l'appareil au sec et à l'abri des températures extrêmes.
• Nettoyez l'écran et le clavier avec un chiffon doux et sec.
• Évitez de faire tomber le téléphone ou de le soumettre à des chocs violents.
• The 1800mAh battery offers up to 12 days of standby time or 6 hours of continuous talk time. For best battery life, avoid overcharging and fully discharging the battery regularly.

7. Dépannage

If you encounter issues with your artfone C1, try the following solutions:

• Le téléphone ne s'allume pas : Assurez-vous que la batterie est correctement insérée et chargée.
• Aucun signal réseau : Check if the SIM card is properly inserted. If using Dual SIM, try inserting the SIM card into the other slot (e.g., if SIM1 doesn't work, try SIM2).
• Mauvaise qualité d'appel : Ensure you are in an area with good network coverage. Adjust the call volume using the side buttons.
• Clavier non réactif : Check if the keypad lock is activated. Unlock it using the side switch or designated key combination.
