4.1. Préparation

1. Clean your truck bed rails thoroughly to ensure a secure seal.
2. Open the tonneau cover box and carefully remove the cover and all hardware components.

4.2. Installation des rails

1. Start with the driver's side rail (the rail with the trigger latch).
2. With the tailgate closed, position the side rail by equally compressing the seals on either end between the cab and the tailgate.
3. Installer le clamps: Position one clamp in the middle, one close to the bulkhead, and the third near the tailgate.
4. Push each clamp as high as possible on the bed rail flange.
5. Finger-tighten the clamps first to ensure the teeth engage with the grooves of the side rail.
6. Once satisfied with the placement of all three clamps, tighten the bolts with a 1/2-inch socket, holding the clamp firmly in one hand to prevent slipping or spinning.
7. Repeat these steps for the passenger side rail.

4.3. Cover Placement and Tension Adjustment

1. Position the cover on the bulkhead, allowing the bolts to slide through the pre-drilled slots.
2. Place the plastic washer and thread the nut onto the bolt. Be careful not to overtighten.
3. Cover tension is controlled by adjustable blocks. To start, place the four-position blocks with the number 4 on top and closest to the cab of the truck.
4. Secure the block with the hitch pin in the number 2 hole. This setting applies the least amount of tension to the cover.
5. Ensure both driver and passenger side blocks are in the same position.
6. Once the cover is on, it may be necessary to adjust the blocks until proper tension is achieved.

5.1. Closing the Cover

1. Unhook the retainer straps if the cover was stowed open.
2. Unroll the cover towards the tailgate.
3. Firmly shut the cover, ensuring it fits into the grooves at the end of the rails.
4. Press down on the hook and loop fasteners along the length of the truck bed to secure.

5.2. Opening and Folding the Cover

1. To open the cover, pull the trigger release on the driver's side rail.
2. Roll the cover towards the cab.
3. Secure the cover by using both retainer straps. Never stow the cover against the cab without securing it. This allows complete access to your truck bed.

Remarque importante : You can operate your vehicle with the cover opened or closed, provided it is properly secured in either position.
