2.1 Déballage et inspection

2.2 Emplacement et dégagements
Choose a suitable location for the stove, ensuring it is on a non-combustible floor or hearth. Maintain the minimum clearances to combustible walls and materials as specified by local regulations and the manufacturer. The flue pipe connection is at the top of the stove.

2.3 Flue System Connection
Connect the stove to a suitable chimney or flue system with a diameter of 130 mm. Ensure all connections are sealed properly to prevent smoke leakage. The chimney must be in good condition, free of obstructions, and capable of providing adequate draft.
2.4 Cuisson initiale (durcissement)
Before regular use, the stove must be cured to allow the paint and internal components to settle. This process involves several small, low-temperature fires. During curing, some smoke and odor may be emitted; ensure the area is well-ventilated. Avoid high temperatures during the first few fires.

3.1 Type de carburant
The Prity K2 CP stove is designed to burn wood and coal. For optimal performance and to minimize creosote buildup, use dry, seasoned hardwood. Wood with a moisture content of 20% or less is recommended. Avoid burning:

3.2 Allumer le poêle
- Open both the front air supply damper and the smoke damper fully.
- Place crumpled paper or natural firelighters on the cast iron grate.

3.4 Ravitaillement
When adding more fuel, open the front air damper and smoke damper fully for a few minutes before opening the combustion chamber door. This helps to prevent smoke from entering the room. Carefully place new logs onto the existing embers and close the door. Adjust the dampers once the new fuel has ignited.
4. Entretien
Regular maintenance is essential for the safe and efficient operation of your Prity K2 CP stove.
