1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use of your APLOS Personal Alert Pager and Button. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

5. Installation
5.1. Mise sous tension
The APLOS Personal Alert Pager is battery-powered. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted. The device is designed for immediate use upon activation.
5.2. Port de l'émetteur
The alert button (transmitter) is designed for portability and accessibility.
- Lanière de cou : Attach the provided lanyard to the alert button and wear it around your neck for easy access.
- Poche: Its compact size allows it to be carried discreetly in a pocket.

5.3. Carrying the Pager (Receiver)
The pager can be carried by the caregiver or person needing to receive alerts.
- Boucle de ceinture: Use the integrated belt clip on the back of the pager to attach it securely to a belt or waistband.
- Poche: The pager can also be placed in a pocket.

6. Mode d'emploi
6.1. Sending an Alert
To send an alert, simply press the orange "SOS" button on the alert transmitter.

6.2. Receiving an Alert
Upon receiving an alert signal from the transmitter, the pager will activate its triple alert functions:
- Alarme auditive: A distinct sound will be emitted from the pager's speaker.
- Vibration: The pager will vibrate to provide a tactile alert.
- Indicateur visuel: A red light on the pager will illuminate.
The pager offers customization options for the alert experience, including adjustable ringtone type and volume. Refer to Section 6.3 for details.
6.3. Customizing Alert Settings
The pager features dedicated buttons on its back for adjusting settings.

7. Entretien
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your APLOS Personal Alert system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Nettoyage: Essuyez les appareils avec un chiffon doux et sec. N’utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ni de solvants.
- Remplacement de la batterie : Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears or performance degrades. Refer to the battery compartment for specific battery types.
