3. Installation

3.1 Inspection initiale

Upon receiving your LILYGO T-Beam, carefully inspect the board for any visible damage. Ensure all components are securely attached. Connect the provided antenna to the SMA connector on the board. If using an 18650 battery, insert it into the battery holder, paying close attention to polarity (+ and - markings).

3.2 Driver Installation (CH9102F)

Before connecting the T-Beam to your computer for programming, ensure the CH9102 serial port driver is installed. If not, download and install the appropriate driver for your operating system from the official LILYGO GitHub page or a reliable source. This driver enables communication between your computer and the ESP32 via the USB port.

3.3 Firmware Flashing (Meshtastic)

To utilize the Meshtastic features, you will need to flash the Meshtastic firmware onto your T-Beam board. Follow these general steps:

4. Mode d'emploi

To power on the device, ensure a charged 18650 battery is inserted or connect the USB-C cable to a power source. The device will typically boot automatically. To power off, disconnect the power source and remove the battery if applicable.

4.2 Meshtastic Application Usage

After flashing the Meshtastic firmware, you can interact with your T-Beam using the Meshtastic mobile application (available for Android and iOS). The app allows you to configure settings, send and receive messages, and view statut du périphérique.
