The ResMed AirFit F30i Frame System is a component of the ResMed AirFit F30i full face CPAP mask, designed to provide comfort and freedom during CPAP therapy. This frame system features a top-of-head tube connection, which helps keep the air tubing out of the way, allowing for greater movement during sleep. It is engineered to fit various facial shapes and sizes, ensuring a secure and customized fit. The mask cushion is designed to sit under the nose, aiming to reduce discomfort and red marks on the nasal bridge.

2. Consignes de sécurité

Avertissements importants :

• Keep the mask magnets at a safe distance of at least 6 inches (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that may be adversely affected by magnetic interference. This warning applies to the user or anyone in close physical contact with the mask.
• The magnets are located in the frame and lower headgear clips, with a magnetic field strength of up to 400mT. While designed to secure the mask, they may inadvertently detach during sleep.

Contre-indications :

Masks with magnetic components are contraindicated for use by patients who, or anyone in close physical contact while using the mask, have the following:

3. Installation et réglage

Proper setup and fitting are crucial for effective CPAP therapy and comfort. Ensure you have the correct cushion and frame size for your mask.

Instructions de montage:

1. Hold the mask frame and cushion against your face.
2. Pull the headgear over your head, ensuring the top-of-head connection is positioned correctly.
3. Adjust the headgear straps to achieve a comfortable and secure seal without overtightening.
4. Connect the CPAP tubing to the top-of-head connector.

4. Operating the Mask System

Once the ResMed AirFit F30i Frame System is properly fitted and connected to your CPAP machine, it operates by delivering pressurized air through the cushion to maintain an open airway during sleep. The top-of-head tubing design minimizes facial contact and allows for various sleeping positions without interference from the hose.

Ensure the mask forms a gentle but effective seal around your nose and mouth area. If you experience air leaks, readjust the headgear straps. The magnetic clips facilitate easy attachment and detachment of the headgear from the frame.

5. Entretien et nettoyage

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential to ensure the longevity and hygienic use of your AirFit F30i Frame System.

Soins quotidiens:

• Inspect for signs of deterioration and replace components as needed.
• Wipe the outside of the foam with CPAP wipes or similar alcohol-free wipes.

6. Troubleshooting and Replacement

To maintain effective therapy, it is recommended to replace your frame system every 3 months, or sooner if signs of wear are observed.
