1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Ozeri Touch III Digital Kitchen Scale. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new kitchen scale. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

The Ozeri Touch III is designed for precise measurement of food items up to 22 lbs (10 kg), featuring a built-in calorie counter for 7 common food items and a touch-sensitive interface for ease of use.

2. Consignes de sécurité

4.1 Composants

• Plateforme de pesée : Surface en verre trempé pour y déposer des objets.
• Affichage LED: High-contrast display showing weight, units, and calorie information.
• Bouton MODE : Cycles through measurement units (grams, pounds/ounces, ounces, milliliters for water, milliliters for milk).
• Bouton TARE : Powers the scale on/off and zeros out the weight of containers.
• Calorie Counter Buttons: Dedicated touch buttons for Chicken, Butter, Sugar, Flour, Egg, Chocolate, and Beef to display caloric values.

5. Installation

5.1 Installation de la batterie

1. Localisez le compartiment à piles sous la balance.
2. Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à piles.
3. Insérez les 4 piles AAA en veillant à respecter la polarité (+/-).
4. Fermez soigneusement le couvercle du compartiment à piles.

La balance est maintenant prête à l'emploi.

6. Mode d'emploi

6.1 Mise sous/hors tension

• To turn on: Lightly touch the FORT button. The display will show "HELLO" and then "0 g".
• Pour éteindre : Appuyez et maintenez le bouton enfoncé FORT button for approximately 3 seconds. The scale will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

6.2 Conversion d'unités

• With the scale on, lightly touch the MODE button to cycle through the available measurement units: grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), ounces (oz), milliliters for water (ml WATER), and milliliters for milk (ml MILK).

6.3 Fonction de tare

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, ensuring only the weight of the ingredients is measured.

1. Place an empty container (e.g., bowl, plate) on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
2. Touchez légèrement le FORT button. The display will reset to "0 g" (or the currently selected unit).
3. Ajoutez vos ingrédients dans le récipient. L'écran affichera alors uniquement le poids net des ingrédients.

6.4 Calorie Counter

The Ozeri Touch III includes a built-in calorie counter for 7 common food items:

To use the calorie counter:

1. Place the food item on the weighing platform (or in a tared container).
2. Lightly touch the corresponding food icon button (e.g., BEURRE).
3. The display will show the estimated caloric (Kcal) value for the weighed portion.

7. Entretien et maintenance

• Nettoyage: Essuyez la surface en verre trempé avec un chiffon doux et sec.amp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent and then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
• Stockage: Rangez la balance dans un endroit frais et sec, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil et des températures extrêmes.
• Remplacement de la batterie : When the "Lo" indicator appears on the display, replace all 4 AAA batteries.
