- Disconnect power to the motor before performing any maintenance, propeller changes, or when the motor is not in use.
- Keep hands, feet, and clothing clear of the propeller at all times, especially when the motor is powered on.
- Use only a 12V deep cycle battery (minimum 105AH recommended) for power.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water for the remote control.

- Choisissez l'emplacement de montage : Select a flat, stable area on the bow of your boat. Ensure there is sufficient clearance for deploying and stowing the motor, and that the shaft can be fully submerged without hitting the boat hull.
- Positionnez le support : Place the motor mount on the chosen location. Mark the drilling points for the mounting bolts.
- Trous de forage : Carefully drill holes through the boat deck at the marked positions. Use appropriate drill bits for your boat material.
- Fixez le moteur : Position the trolling motor on the mount and secure it using the provided bolts, washers, and nuts. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely to prevent movement during operation.

4.2 Connexion électrique
- Exigences relatives à la batterie : Connect the trolling motor to a 12V deep cycle marine battery. A minimum of 105AH is recommended for optimal performance and run time.
- Câblage : Connect the positive (+) lead from the motor to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the negative (-) lead to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure connections are tight and corrosion-free.
- Protection du circuit: It is highly recommended to install an appropriate circuit breaker (not included) between the motor and the battery to protect against electrical overloads.
4.3 Réglage de la profondeur
The motor features an adjustable depth collar on the 54-inch cast alloy aluminum shaft. Loosen the depth collar adjustment knob, slide the motor shaft up or down to achieve the desired propeller depth, and then securely tighten the knob. The propeller should be submerged sufficiently to avoid cavitation but not so deep as to hit the bottom in shallow waters.
5. Mode d'emploi
5.1 Deploying and Stowing the Motor
To deploy the motor, release the stow/deploy pedal or lever and gently lower the motor into the water. To stow, lift the motor out of the water and secure it in the stowed position using the pedal/lever and any locking mechanisms.

6. Entretien
- Rinse the motor thoroughly with fresh water, especially after saltwater use, to remove salt, dirt, and debris.
- Check all electrical connections for corrosion and tightness.
- Entretien de l'hélice :
- Periodically remove the propeller to clean the shaft and check for wear on the propeller and shear pin.
- Replace damaged propellers immediately.
- Anode sacrificielle :
- The motor is equipped with a sacrificial anode to protect against galvanic corrosion. Inspect the anode regularly and replace it when it is significantly corroded (approximately 50% of its original size).
- Stockage:
- When storing the motor for extended periods, ensure it is clean, dry, and disconnected from the battery.
- Conserver dans un endroit frais et sec.
