4. Configuration et installation

4.1 Montage du moteur de pêche à la traîne

1. Choisissez l'emplacement de montage : Select a flat, stable area on the bow of your boat. Ensure there is sufficient clearance for deploying and stowing the motor, and that the shaft can be fully submerged without hitting the boat hull.
2. Positionnez le support : Place the motor mount on the chosen location. Mark the drilling points for the mounting bolts.
3. Trous de forage : Carefully drill holes through the boat deck at the marked positions. Use appropriate drill bits for your boat material.

4.2 Connexion électrique

1. Exigences relatives à la batterie : Connect the trolling motor to a 12V deep cycle marine battery. A minimum of 105AH is recommended for optimal performance and run time.
2. Câblage : Connect the positive (+) lead from the motor to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the negative (-) lead to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure connections are tight and corrosion-free.

The motor features an adjustable depth collar on the 54-inch cast alloy aluminum shaft. Loosen the depth collar adjustment knob, slide the motor shaft up or down to achieve the desired propeller depth, and then securely tighten the knob. The propeller should be submerged sufficiently to avoid cavitation but not so deep as to hit the bottom in shallow waters.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1 Deploying and Stowing the Motor

To deploy the motor, release the stow/deploy pedal or lever and gently lower the motor into the water. To stow, lift the motor out of the water and secure it in the stowed position using the pedal/lever and any locking mechanisms.

• Marche/Arrêt : Press the Power On/Off button to activate or deactivate the motor.

• Pleine vitesse: Press the "Full Speed" button for maximum thrust.

5.3 Battery Power Reader

The motor features an LED battery power reader display, conveniently located on top of the motor housing. This display shows the remaining battery charge, allowing you to monitor your power levels during use.

6. Entretien

• Stockage:
  • When storing the motor for extended periods, ensure it is clean, dry, and disconnected from the battery.
