Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your JENSEN CD-590 Portable Stereo CD and Cassette Player/Recorder with AM/FM Radio and Bluetooth. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the unit and retain it for future reference.

Installation

Mise sous tension de l'unité

The CD-590 can be powered by AC household current or by batteries.

Fonctionnement sur alimentation CA :

3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet.

For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. For AM reception, the unit has a built-in ferrite bar antenna, so no external adjustment is needed, but you may need to reposition the unit for best reception.

Lecture de CD

1. Appuyez sur le POUVOIR bouton pour allumer l'appareil.
2. Appuyez sur le MODE button repeatedly until "CD" appears on the LCD display.

4. Place a CD (or CD-R/RW with MP3 files) onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
5. Close the CD compartment door securely. The unit will read the disc, and the total number of tracks will appear on the display.
6. Appuyez sur le LECTURE/PAUSE button (►/❚❚) to start playback.
7. Utilisez le IGNORER/RECHERCHER buttons (◀◀ / ►►) to navigate between tracks. Press and hold to search within a track.

3. Open the cassette compartment door by pressing the EJECT button (usually located near the cassette door).

4. Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards and the side to be played facing you.

6. Use the controls on your Bluetooth device or the CD-590 (PLAY/PAUSE, SKIP/SEARCH) to control playback.

Entrée auxiliaire (AUX IN)

3. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN jack on the CD-590.

• After every 10-20 hours of operation, clean the cassette heads, capstan, and pinch roller using a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
• Demagnetize the cassette heads periodically with a cassette head demagnetizer to prevent poor sound quality.
