1. Introduction

2. Installation

The Tera Pro scanner offers three flexible connection options:

2.1. Connexion sans fil 2.4 GHz

This mode provides a stable wireless connection via the included USB dongle. It is a plug-and-play solution requiring no driver installation.

1. Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer or compatible device.
2. The scanner will automatically connect to the dongle. A successful connection is indicated by a specific sound or LED light on the scanner.

2.2. Connexion Bluetooth

For devices with Bluetooth capability, the scanner can be paired directly.

Connect the scanner directly to your device using the provided USB cable for a stable wired connection.

1. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the scanner's charging/data port.
2. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer or device.
3. The scanner will function immediately without additional drivers.

3. Fonctionnement

3.1. Scanner les codes-barres

To scan a barcode, point the scanner's window at the barcode and press the trigger button. The scanner will emit a light beam to read the code. A successful scan is indicated by a beep, a flash of the LED light, and a vibration (if enabled).

3.2. Modes de chargement des données

Le scanner prend en charge deux modes principaux de chargement de données :

• Mode de téléchargement instantané : Barcode data is transmitted directly to your connected computer or device immediately after scanning. This is the default mode.
• Mode de stockage: The scanner can store up to 10,000 barcodes internally. Data is saved to the scanner's memory and can be uploaded to your computer later when a connection is established. This mode is useful for inventory taking or scanning in areas without immediate connectivity.

3.3. Vibration Alert

The Tera Pro scanner features a vibration alert system that provides a tactile signal upon a successful scan. This is particularly useful in noisy environments or when a silent operation is preferred. The buzzer can be set to mute to allow for quiet operation.

3.4. Paramètres avancés

• Prise en charge multilingue : Configure the scanner for different keyboard layouts, including English, Spanish, German, Japanese, French, and Italian.

• Ajouter ou masquer des chiffres : Customize barcode output by adding prefixes, suffixes, or hiding specific characters. For example, you can set the scanner to delete the first 2 characters and add 2 TAB-characters when scanning Code39, while leaving other barcode types unedited.

4. Entretien

4.1. Gestion de la batterie

The scanner is equipped with a 2000mAh Lithium Ion battery. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:

• Chargez complètement le scanner avant la première utilisation.

The scanner's bright orange silicone protective cover is designed to absorb shocks and prevent scratches from accidental drops. To maintain the device:

• Keep the scanning window clean and free of dust or smudges to ensure accurate reads.
