2. Consignes de sécurité

4. Installation
Avant la première utilisation, suivez ces étapes pour préparer votre broyeur :

- Assembler: Place the ground coffee container securely into its position under the dispenser outlet. Ensure the coffee bean hopper is correctly seated on top of the grinder body.
- Trémie de remplissage : Open the hopper lid and pour whole roasted coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line. Close the lid.

5. Mode d'emploi
5.1. Ajustement du meulage
The Gaggia MD15 offers 15 grind settings, from very fine (1) for espresso to coarse (15) for French press or filter coffee. Adjust the grind fineness using the rotary knob on the side of the grinder.
- Pour l'espresso : Select settings 1-5.
- For Filter Coffee: Select settings 6-10.
- Pour la presse française : Select settings 11-15.
Note: It is recommended to adjust the grind setting only when the grinder is operating or completely empty to prevent damage to the burrs.

5.2. Moudre le café
- Ensure the coffee bean hopper is filled with whole beans and the ground coffee container is in place.
- Select your desired grind fineness using the adjustment knob.
- Appuyez sur le DÉMARRER/ARRÊTER button on the control panel to begin grinding.
- The grinder will operate until the preset time or quantity is reached, or until you press DÉMARRER/ARRÊTER again to manually stop it.
- Remove the ground coffee container or place your portafilter directly under the dispenser to collect the freshly ground coffee.

5.3. Using the Digital Timer
The digital display allows you to set a specific grinding time or quantity for consistent results. Use the rotary knob to navigate through the timer settings and the START/STOP button to confirm your selection. Refer to the LED icons on the control panel for visual guidance on quantity or time settings.

6. Entretien
Un nettoyage régulier garantit des performances optimales et prolonge la durée de vie de votre broyeur.
6.1. Cleaning the Grinding Chamber and Burrs
- Débrancher: Débranchez toujours le moulin avant de le nettoyer.
- Trémie vide : Retirez tous les grains de café restants de la trémie.
- Enlever la bavure supérieure : Follow the instructions in your quick start guide to unlock and remove the upper conical burr.
- Nettoyage à la brosse : Use a small brush (often supplied with the grinder) to remove ground coffee particles from both the upper and lower burrs, and from the grinding chamber.
- Remonter: Carefully reinsert and lock the upper burr into place.
6.2. Cleaning Hopper and Container
- The coffee bean hopper lid and ground coffee container can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
