1. Introduction

The Jamo C912 Subwoofer features a 12-inch front-firing polyfiber woofer and is powered by a 400W Class D amplifier. This design provides robust low-frequency sound reproduction, suitable for both music and movie playback.

Rear Panel Controls and Connections:

• Volume: Ajuste le niveau de sortie global du caisson de basses.

5. Installation

5.1 Placement

5.2 Connexions

Before making any connections, ensure the subwoofer and your receiver/amplifier are turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.

1. Connexion LFE (recommandée) : Connect a single RCA cable from the LFE or Subwoofer output of your receiver/amplifier to the LFE IN input on the Jamo C912 Subwoofer.
2. Connexion RCA stéréo : Si votre récepteur/amplifier does not have an LFE output, connect RCA cables from the L/R pre-out of your receiver/amplifier to the LINE IN (L/R) inputs on the subwoofer.
3. Connexion électrique : Once audio connections are made, connect the supplied power cord to the AC Input on the subwoofer and then to a wall outlet.

5.3 Wireless Connectivity (Optional)

The Jamo C912 Subwoofer is wireless-ready. To enable wireless operation, you will need to purchase the Klipsch WA2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit (sold separately). Follow the instructions provided with the WA2 kit for installation and pairing with your subwoofer.

6. Fonctionnement

6.1 Mise sous tension et réglage initiaux

1. Turn on your receiver/amplifier and the Jamo C912 Subwoofer (using the Power Switch on the rear panel).
2. The LED indicator on the front of the subwoofer will glow red when in standby and blue when active.
3. Start playing audio through your system.
4. Ajustez le Volume knob on the subwoofer to achieve a balanced bass level with your main speakers.
5. Ajustez le Frequency (Crossover) knob. A good starting point is typically around 80-100 Hz, but this will depend on the low-frequency capabilities of your main speakers. Adjust until the bass blends seamlessly without sounding boomy or disconnected.
6. Ajustez le Phase switch (0° or 180°). Listen for the setting that provides the most impactful and coherent bass at your listening position.

6.2 Auto Power On/Standby

The Jamo C912 Subwoofer features an auto-on/standby function. When an audio signal is detected, the subwoofer will automatically power on (LED turns blue). If no audio signal is detected for a period, it will enter standby mode (LED turns red) to conserve power. At very low volumes, the subwoofer may not detect an input signal and may remain in standby. Increase the input signal level if this occurs.
