4. Configuration et installation

The SHARP KH-6IX38FS00-EU is designed for drop-in installation. Proper installation is crucial for safety and optimal performance.

The cooktop requires an electrical connection of 220-240V or 400V at 50 Hz. The connection cable is supplied without a plug. Electrical installation must be performed by a certified electrician in compliance with all applicable electrical codes and regulations.

5. Mode d'emploi

The SHARP induction cooktop features a user-friendly Slider Touch-Control panel.

Activation/désactivation :

Appuyez sur le symbole d'alimentation (⏻) pour allumer ou éteindre la plaque de cuisson.

Sélection d'une zone de cuisson et réglage de la puissance :

Once the cooktop is on, select the desired cooking zone by touching its corresponding control area. Use the slider to adjust the power level from 1 to 9. For rapid heating, touch the 'Boost' symbol (P) for the selected zone.

Fonction minuterie :

To set a timer for a cooking zone, select the zone and then touch the timer symbol (◷). Use the slider or dedicated buttons to set the desired cooking duration. The timer will count down and automatically switch off the zone when finished.

Verrouillage enfant :

Pour activer le verrouillage enfant, appuyez longuement sur le symbole de verrouillage enfant (☍) for a few seconds until the indicator lights up. This will disable all controls. To deactivate, press and hold the symbol again until the indicator turns off.

Détection automatique des pots :

The cooktop automatically detects suitable induction-compatible cookware placed on a cooking zone. If no pot is detected or an unsuitable pot is used, the zone will not heat up and an error indicator may appear.

After a cooking zone is turned off, the residual heat indicator (H) will illuminate if the surface is still hot enough to cause burns. Do not touch the surface until the indicator disappears.

• Séchez soigneusement la surface après le nettoyage pour éviter les taches d'eau.

Soins généraux:

• Do not drop heavy or sharp objects on the glass ceramic surface.
• Avoid spilling sugary substances on the hot surface, as they can cause permanent damage if not cleaned immediately.

Cooktop Does Not Turn On:

Automatic Safety Shutdown Activates:

• This is a safety feature. It occurs if a cooking zone is left on for an extended period without adjustment. Simply turn the zone off and then back on if you wish to continue cooking.

Bruits inhabituels pendant le fonctionnement :

• A slight humming or buzzing sound is normal for induction cooktops, especially at higher power settings, due to the electromagnetic field.
• Clicking sounds may occur from the cookware itself as it heats up and expands.
