Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sharp Digital Alarm Clock with AccuSet. Designed for ease of use, this clock automatically sets the time, making it ideal for all users.

Installation

1. Initial Power-Up and Time Zone Selection

Locate the time zone switch on the bottom of the clock.
Select your desired time zone (e.g., EST for Eastern Standard Time). The default is Eastern Standard Time.
Plug the clock into an approved electrical source. The AccuSet feature will automatically set the correct time.

2. Daylight Savings Time (DST) Adjustment

To adjust for Daylight Savings Time:

Slide the DST switch on the bottom of the clock to ON to add one hour (+1 hr).
For Standard Time, slide the switch to DÉSACTIVÉ to subtract one hour (-1 hr).

3. Batterie de secours

The clock comes with a pre-installed CR2032 button cell battery. This battery retains time settings during power outages. It is located in a screw-secured compartment at the bottom of the clock.

1. Réglage de l'alarme

Appuyez sur le ENSEMBLE D'ALARME Appuyez une fois sur le bouton. L'heure de l'alarme clignotera sur l'écran.
Appuyez sur le RÉGLAGE DES HEURES button to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
Appuyez sur le RÉGLAGE DES MINUTES bouton pour régler les minutes de l'alarme.
Appuyez sur le ENSEMBLE D'ALARME Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton pour confirmer et quitter le mode de réglage de l'alarme.

2. Activation/Désactivation de l'alarme

Pour allumer l'alarme ON, appuyez sur le ALARME ON / OFF button. The alarm indicator light on the display will illuminate.
Pour allumer l'alarme DÉSACTIVÉ, appuyez sur le ALARME ON / OFF button again. The alarm indicator light will turn off.

3. Fonction Snooze

Lorsque l'alarme sonne, appuyez sur le grand bouton. ROUPILLON Le bouton se trouve sur le dessus de l'horloge. L'alarme s'arrêtera temporairement et sonnera à nouveau après environ 9 minutes.

4. Commande du variateur

Pour régler la luminosité de l'écran LED :

Entretien

Battery Replacement (CR2032)

The pre-installed CR2032 battery is designed to last for several years. If the clock loses time during a power outage, la batterie pourrait nécessiter un remplacement.

Débranchez l'horloge de la prise électrique.
Locate the screw-secured battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
Unscrew the compartment cover and carefully remove the old CR2032 battery.
Insérez une nouvelle pile CR2032 en veillant à respecter la polarité (+ côté vers le haut).
Replace the compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Rebranchez l'horloge à la prise électrique.

Note: Jetez les vieilles piles de manière responsable conformément aux réglementations locales.

Dépannage

Problème	Cause possible	Solution
L'affichage de l'horloge est vide.	Pas de courant.	Ensure the clock is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check the power source.
L'heure est incorrecte.	Incorrect time zone selected; DST switch incorrect; Power interruption.	Verify the time zone switch on the bottom of the clock. Check the DST switch position. If power was interrupted, the AccuSet should reset the time; if not, check/replace backup battery.
L'alarme ne sonne pas.	Alarme non activée ; heure d'alarme incorrecte.	Ensure the alarm indicator light is on (press ALARM ON/OFF button). Verify the alarm time is set correctly.
L'écran est trop lumineux/sombre.	Le réglage du variateur nécessite un ajustement.	Press the DIMMER HI/LO button to cycle through brightness settings.
