3.3 Inclusion/Exclusion du réseau Z-Wave

To integrate the detector into your Z-Wave network:

  1. Mettez votre passerelle Z-Wave en mode d'inclusion (appairage). Consultez le manuel de votre passerelle pour obtenir des instructions spécifiques.
  2. Press the Z-Wave button on the detector three times quickly. The detector will send an inclusion request to the gateway.
  3. Once successfully included, the detector will appear in your gateway's device list.
  4. To exclude the device, put your Z-Wave gateway into exclusion mode and press the Z-Wave button on the detector three times quickly.

4. Fonctionnement

4.1 LED Indicators and Sound Patterns

The detector uses a combination of LED flashes and beeps to indicate its status:

Note: The text on the battery in Figure 2 provides a summary of these indicators.

4.2 Test du détecteur

It is recommended to test your CO detector weekly to ensure proper operation.

  1. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton de test du détecteur pendant quelques secondes.
  2. The detector will emit a series of loud beeps and the LED will flash, indicating that the alarm and sensor are functioning correctly.
  3. Release the button. The detector will return to normal operation.

5. Entretien

5.1 Remplacement de la batterie

The detector is powered by one CR123A battery with an estimated lifespan of 3 years. When the battery is low, the detector will emit two beeps every 10 seconds. Replace the battery immediately when this occurs.

  1. Twist the base of the detector counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  2. Retirez la pile CR123A usagée.
  3. Insérez une nouvelle pile CR123A en respectant la polarité.
  4. Close the battery compartment by twisting clockwise until it clicks securely.
  5. Tester le détecteur après le remplacement de la pile.

5.2 Nettoyage

Clean the detector regularly to prevent dust and debris from affecting its performance.

6. Dépannage
