3.2. Panneau de configuration

4. Installation

1. Déballage: Retirez délicatement le déshumidificateur de son emballage.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Connexion électrique : Branchez le cordon d’alimentation sur une prise électrique reliée à la terre.
4. Vérification initiale : Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and the air outlet is fully open before operating.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1. Marche/Arrêt

Appuyez sur le POUVOIR button once to turn the unit on. Press it again to turn it off.

5.2. Setting Desired Humidity (Auto Mode)

When the unit is on, the digital display will show the current room humidity. Press the PARAMÈTRE button to adjust your desired humidity level between 30% and 80%. The dehumidifier will operate until the room humidity reaches the set level, then automatically stop. It will restart when the humidity rises above the set point.

6. Options de drainage

Your Waykar dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:

6.1. Vidange manuelle (réservoir d'eau)

The unit collects water in its 0.66-gallon (2.5 L) removable water tank. When the tank reaches maximum capacity, the "Full Tank" indicator will light up, and the dehumidifier will automatically shut off. To empty:

1. Retirez délicatement le réservoir d'eau par l'avant de l'appareil.
2. Transportez soigneusement le réservoir jusqu'à un évier ou un drain.
3. Vider l'eau recueillie.
4. Faites glisser le réservoir vide dans le déshumidificateur jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche. L'appareil reprendra alors son fonctionnement.

6.2. Drainage continu (tuyau de drainage)

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can use the included 6.56-foot drain hose for automatic gravity draining:

1. Locate the drain pipe hole at the back of the unit.
2. Connect one end of the drain hose to this hole, ensuring a secure fit.
3. Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink, sump pump). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow for gravity drainage.

7. Entretien

7.1. Nettoyage du filtre à air

The dehumidifier is equipped with a reusable and washable filter to maintain air quality and unit efficiency. A "Clean Filter" indicator may illuminate to remind you to clean the filter.

1. Éteignez et débranchez le déshumidificateur.
2. Remove the filter from the rear of the unit.
3. Lavez le filtre à l'eau chaude savonneuse. Rincez abondamment.
4. Laisser le filtre sécher complètement à l'air libre avant de le réinsérer.
5. Réinstallez le filtre sec dans l'appareil.

7.2. Stockage

Si le déshumidificateur n’est pas utilisé pendant une période prolongée :

• Videz le réservoir d'eau et assurez-vous qu'il soit propre et sec.
• Nettoyer le filtre à air.
• Rangez l'appareil en position verticale dans un endroit frais et sec.
