4. Configuration et installation

4.1. Préparation de l'installation

1. Remove your old toilet seat and clean the toilet bowl's mounting area thoroughly.
2. Ensure the mounting holes on your toilet bowl are clean and free of debris.

4.2. Installing the Toilet Seat

1. Insert the mounting bolts through the holes in the toilet bowl.
2. Place the toilet seat hinges onto the mounting bolts. Adjust the position of the hinges to align with the seat's attachment points.
3. From underneath the toilet bowl, secure the bolts with washers and nuts. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench to ensure a snug fit. Do not overtighten.
4. Align the toilet seat with the hinges and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

5.1. Soft-Closing Function

The CERSANIT COMO Slim toilet seat features a soft-closing mechanism. Simply push the seat or lid down gently, and it will lower slowly and silently to the toilet bowl, preventing slamming and reducing wear and tear.

5.2. Easy Off One Button Removal

For thorough cleaning or maintenance, the seat can be easily removed:

1. Locate the 'Easy Off One Button' on the hinge mechanism (refer to Image 4.1).

4. To reattach, align the seat with the hinges and press down until it clicks securely into place.
