- Nettoyage: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not spray liquids directly onto the device.
- Manutention: Avoid dropping or subjecting the unit to strong impacts. Protect the knobs and connectors from excessive force.
4. Dépannage
If you encounter issues with your Midiplus Studio 4, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
Alimentation défaillante/Périphérique non reconnu :
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the interface and your computer.
- If the device is not receiving enough power from the USB bus, connect an external +5V power supply to the mini USB port.
- Ensure the Monitor Volume and Headphone Gain knobs are turned up.
- Verify that the correct input/output routing is selected using the IN/OUT buttons.
- Check your computer's sound settings and your DAW's audio preferences to ensure the Midiplus Studio 4 is selected as the input/output device.
- Ensure the LED meters are showing activity when audio is present.
Signal d'entrée trop faible/trop élevé :
- Adjust the GAIN knobs for the respective inputs.
- Ensure the LINE/INST switch is set correctly for your connected device (e.g., INST for guitars, LINE for keyboards).
- Adjust the buffer size in your DAW's audio settings. Lower buffer sizes reduce latency but require more CPU power.
- Ensure you are using ASIO drivers (Windows) or Core Audio (Mac) for optimal performance.
