1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your FireAngel CO-9B Carbon Monoxide Detector. 2.2 Installation de la batterie

The FireAngel CO-9B requires two (2) AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps:

2.3 Placement optimal

For optimal protection, install CO detectors in the following locations:

Avoid these locations:

• Within 1 meter (3 feet) of cooking appliances, heating appliances, or open flames.

• In direct sunlight or areas subject to extreme temperature changes.

2.4 Montage du détecteur

Once you have chosen an appropriate location, mount the detector:

1. Mark the positions for the mounting screws on the wall or ceiling.

1. Press and hold the 'TEST/RESET' button on the front of the detector for a few seconds.

3.4 Silence/Reset Function

Pressing the 'TEST/RESET' button during an alarm will temporarily silence the alarm for a short period (e.g., 5-10 minutes). This function is useful for investigating the source of CO. If the CO level remains high, the alarm will reactivate.

4. Entretien
