4. Configuration et installation
Professional installation is highly recommended for this appliance to ensure proper function and safety. Refer to the technical drawing for precise dimensions and clearance requirements.

4.2 Installation Steps (Summary):
- Prepare the cabinet opening according to the dimensions provided in the technical drawing.
- Install the ductwork (if ducted) or prepare for charcoal filter installation (if ductless). The unit accommodates a 6-inch round duct.
- Mount the range hood insert securely into the cabinet opening.
- Connect the electrical wiring to a grounded outlet, ensuring all connections comply with local electrical codes.
- Install the baffle filter(s) and LED lamps.
- Test the fan speeds and lighting functions.

5. Mode d'emploi
The Hauslane IN-R100SS-30 features push-button controls for fan speed and lighting.
5.1 Fan Operation:
- Locate the fan speed control buttons on the right side of the unit.
- Press the appropriate button to select your desired fan speed (typically low, medium, high).
- For general cooking, a lower speed may suffice. For heavy-duty cooking or strong odors, higher speeds are recommended.
- Press the 'Off' button to turn off the fan.
5.2 Lighting Operation:
- Locate the light control button, usually positioned above the fan speed controls.

6. Entretien

6.1 Cleaning Baffle Filters:
- The stainless steel baffle filters should be cleaned regularly, ideally after every 30 hours of cooking or at least once a month, depending on usage.
- To remove, slide the latch or pull tab on the filter and gently pull it down.
- The filters are dishwasher-safe. Place them in the dishwasher for thorough cleaning.
- Alternatively, wash them by hand using hot water and a degreasindétergent g.

6.4 Ductless Filter Replacement (if applicable):
- If operating in ductless mode, the charcoal filters (sold separately) should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on cooking frequency.
