Sharp DR-450 Digital DAB+/FM Radio with Bluetooth and Alarm Clock

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Sharp DR-450 Digital DAB+/FM Radio. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.

4.1 Panneau avant

The front panel features a large LED display, control buttons for navigation and selection (PRESET, INFO/MENU, ENTER/SCAN, SLEEP), tuning buttons (left/right arrows), and a MODE button. A rotary knob for SNOOZE/VOLUME and EQ adjustment is located on the right side.

4.2 Panneau arrière

The rear panel includes the telescopic antenna for radio reception and the DC 5V power input port.

5. Installation

5.1 Connexion d'alimentation

1. Insert the DC plug of the supplied power adapter into the DC 5V port on the rear of the radio.

For optimal FM and DAB/DAB+ reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

5.3 Mise sous tension initiale

Upon first power-on, the radio may automatically scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes. Once complete, the radio will display the time and date, and the first available station will begin playing.

6.1 Mise sous/hors tension

Appuyez sur le MODE/PUISSANCE bouton (en haut à droite) pour allumer ou éteindre la radio.

6.2 Selecting Radio Modes

Appuyez sur le MODE/PUISSANCE button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB, FM, Bluetooth, and AUX.

6.3 Station Tuning (DAB/DAB+)

1. En mode DAB, appuyez sur ENTRER/SCANNER to perform an auto-scan for stations.
2. Utilisez le Flèche gauche/droite buttons to navigate through the list of found stations.
3. Presse ENTRER/SCANNER pour sélectionner une station.

6.4 Station Tuning (FM)

1. En mode FM, appuyez sur ENTRER/SCANNER pour rechercher automatiquement la prochaine station disponible.

6.5 stations préréglées

The radio supports up to 60 station presets (30 DAB, 30 FM).

• Pour enregistrer un préréglage : Syntonisez la station souhaitée. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton PRÉRÉGLAGE button until 'Preset Store' appears. Use the Flèche gauche/droite appuyez sur les boutons pour sélectionner un numéro prédéfini, puis appuyez sur ENTRER/SCANNER pour confirmer.
• Pour rappeler un préréglage : Appuyez sur le PRÉRÉGLAGE button briefly. Use the Flèche gauche/droite appuyez sur les boutons pour sélectionner le numéro prédéfini souhaité, puis appuyez sur ENTRER/SCANNER.

6.6 Connexion Bluetooth

1. Basculez la radio en mode Bluetooth à l'aide du MODE/PUISSANCE button. The display will show 'Bluetooth Pairing'.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smart device and search for 'SHARP DR-450'.
3. Sélectionnez l'appareil à appairer. Une fois connecté, vous pourrez diffuser de l'audio sans fil.

6.7 Entrée AUX

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX IN port on the rear of the radio using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied). Switch the radio to AUX mode to play audio from the connected device.

The DR-450 features dual alarms, a sleep timer, and a snooze function.
