1. Introduction

The Aqueon OptiBright MAX LED Aquarium Light is designed to provide optimal illumination for freshwater or saltwater aquariums, supporting the growth of low to medium light level plants. This slim, low-profile fixture features bright white, blue Moon Glow, and color-enhancing RGB LEDs, offering extensive customization through an easy-to-use RF remote control. Key features include a 24-hour timer, 10% increment dimming, 8 preset color options, a 3-speed color scroll mode, and automatic 30-minute ramp times for natural sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset effects.

4. Installation

4.1. Installation des piles de la télécommande

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the RF Remote Control.
2. Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment.

4.2. Installation du luminaire

The OptiBright MAX LED light features adjustable legs to fit various aquarium lengths within the 18-24 inch range.

1. Extend the adjustable mounting legs on both ends of the light fixture to match the length of your aquarium.
2. Carefully place the light fixture on the rim of your aquarium, ensuring it is stable and level. The light should sit securely on the tank edges.
3. Ensure the light is positioned to provide even illumination across the aquarium surface.

4.3. Connexion de l'alimentation

1. Connect the power transformer to the light fixture's power input port.
2. Plug the power transformer into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. The light should briefly illuminate or indicate power is connected.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1. Télécommande surview

The RF remote control allows full customization of your OptiBright MAX LED light. It does not require line of sight to operate the fixture.

• Bouton d'alimentation : Allume ou éteint le luminaire.
• White ON/OFF: Toggles white LEDs.
• Blue ON/OFF: Toggles blue Moon Glow LEDs.
• RVB ON/OFF : Toggles color-enhancing RGB LEDs.
• '+' / '-': Adjusts brightness in 10% increments or navigates menu options.
• Set/Enter: Confirms selections or enters programming modes.
• Preset Color Buttons: 8 dedicated buttons for quick access to various color options.
• Color Scroll Button: Activates a 3-speed color scroll mode.

5.2. Fonctionnement de base

1. Appuyez sur le Bouton d'alimentation pour allumer ou éteindre la lumière.
2. Utilisez le White ON/OFF, Blue ON/OFF, et RVB activé/désactivé buttons to activate or deactivate specific LED colors.
3. While a color is active, use the '+' et '-' buttons to adjust its intensity in 10% increments.

5.3. Setting the 24-Hour Timer

The remote allows individual 24-hour timers for white, blue, and RGB LEDs, including automatic 30-minute ramp times for a natural day/night cycle.

1. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le Set/Enter button to enter timer programming mode.
2. Utilisez le '+' et '-' buttons to navigate between settings (e.g., White ON time, White OFF time, Blue ON time, etc.).
3. Presse Set/Enter to select a setting. Use '+' et '-' pour régler l'heure et les minutes. Presse Set/Enter to confirm each time.
4. Repeat for all desired ON/OFF times for White, Blue, and RGB LEDs.
5. Once all settings are configured, exit programming mode (refer to remote display for confirmation).

Note: Some users have reported that custom intensity settings may be overridden by default 100% intensity when the timer activates the light. If this occurs, manual adjustment after timer activation may be necessary.

5.4. Personnalisation des couleurs

• Couleurs prédéfinies : Press any of the 8 dedicated color buttons to instantly switch to a preset color combination.
• Color Scroll: Appuyez sur le Color Scroll Button to activate a dynamic color changing mode. Pressing it repeatedly will cycle through 3 different speeds.

6. Entretien

6.1. Nettoyage du luminaire

1. Always unplug the light fixture from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec.amp cloth to gently wipe the exterior of the light fixture. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
3. Ensure no water enters the electrical components. Dry thoroughly before reconnecting power.

Replace the AAA batteries in the remote control when the display becomes dim or the remote's range decreases. Follow the instructions in Section 4.1.

7. Dépannage

• Timer settings are not working as expected:
  • Re-program the timer settings carefully, ensuring each step is confirmed with the Set/Enter bouton.
  • Confirm the current time on the remote is accurate.
  • Be aware that custom intensity settings might revert to default when the timer activates the light.
• Light intensity is too low/high:
