1. Introduction et plusview

The Timex Expedition Scout 40mm Analog Watch is a robust and reliable timepiece designed for everyday wear and outdoor adventures. 2. Installation

2.1 Réglage du temps

Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to its outermost position.
Tournez la couronne dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire pour régler l'heure et les aiguilles des minutes.
Repoussez la couronne dans sa position initiale pour démarrer la montre.

2.2 Setting Date

Gently pull the crown out to its intermediate (middle) position. This position may feel slightly vague.
Rotate the crown to adjust the date in the date window (located at the 3 o'clock position).
Une fois la date correcte affichée, repoussez la couronne dans sa position d'origine.

3. Caractéristiques de fonctionnement

3.1 Veilleuse INDIGLO®

The INDIGLO® night-light illuminates the watch dial for easy readability in low-light conditions. To activate, simply press and hold the crown when it is in its normal (closed) position. The dial will light up with a soft blue glow.

3.2 24-Hour Time Display

In addition to the standard 12-hour clock, the watch dial includes smaller inner numerals for 24-hour (military) time, providing an alternative time reference.

3.3 Résistance à l'eau

The Timex Expedition Scout watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet). This rating means it is generally suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, such as in a pool or shallow water. It is not recommended for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports.

4. Entretien

4.1 Entretien général

Nettoyez régulièrement la montre avec un chiffon doux et sec.amp tissu. Évitez les produits chimiques agressifs.
Évitez d'exposer la montre à des températures extrêmes (chaudes ou froides) ou à des changements brusques de température.
Protect the mineral glass crystal from impacts to prevent scratches.

Avoid prolonged exposure to water for the leather components.
Clean the nylon strap with mild soap and water, and allow it to air dry completely.
