Installation et connexion
The LAUNCH Creader 3001 is a "PLUG AND PLAY" scan tool, making setup straightforward. No complex installation is required. Simply connect the device to your vehicle's OBDII port.

The Creader 3001 provides various diagnostic functions accessible through its intuitive menu. Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, OK, Back) to select options.
1. Read and Clear Codes
This function allows you to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the vehicle's engine control unit (ECU) and clear them after repairs. The device includes a built-in DTC definition lookup library.

2. I/M Readiness Status Test
This function checks the status of emission-related monitors (e.g., misfire system, fuel system) to ensure they are ready for an emissions test. This helps you pass smog checks easily.
- Select "I/M Readiness" from the diagnostic menu.
- The screen will display the status of various monitors as "OK" (complete) or "INC" (incomplete).

7. On-Board Monitor Test (Mode $06)
This function retrieves test results for emission-related powertrain components and systems that are not continuously monitored.
- Select "On-Board Monitor Test" to view these results.
8. Identify VIN Information
The Creader 3001 can read the vehicle's information, including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Calibration ID (CALID), and Calibration Verification Number (CVN).
