Installation
1. Installation de la batterie
- Assurez-vous que la radio est éteinte.

- Insert the provided rechargeable battery pack, ensuring correct polarity. Alternatively, insert four (4) AA alkaline batteries (not included) if not using the rechargeable pack.

2. Chargement des radios
For optimal performance, fully charge the rechargeable battery packs before first use.
- Connect the AC wall adapter or DC vehicle adapter to the desktop charger.
- Place the radios into the charging slots on the desktop charger. The charging indicator light will illuminate to show charging status.
- A full charge typically takes several hours. Refer to the full user manual for specific charging times.

Mode d'emploi
1. Mise sous/hors tension et volume
- To turn the radio ON, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click.
- Pour éteindre la radio, tournez le bouton Marche/Arrêt/Volume dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à entendre un clic.
- Réglez le volume en tournant le bouton Alimentation/Volume.
2. Bouton Push-to-Talk (PTT)
- To transmit, press and hold the PTT button located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone.
- Relâchez le bouton PTT pour recevoir.
3. selection de CHAINE
- Press the MENU button once. The current channel number will flash.
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select your desired channel (1-50).
- Press the PTT button to confirm your selection or MENU to move to the next setting.
4. Codes de confidentialité
- After selecting a channel, press the MENU button twice. The current privacy code will flash.
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select a privacy code (1-142).
- Press the PTT button to confirm or MENU to move to the next setting.
5. NOAA Weather Scan and Alert
- Press the WX button to activate NOAA Weather Scan. The radio will scan 10 NOAA weather channels.
- When a weather alert is detected, the radio will automatically switch to the weather channel and sound an alert.
6. Fonction SOS
- Press and hold the SOS button to activate the distress signal. This will transmit an audible alert to other radios on the same channel.
7. Verrouillage des touches
- To prevent accidental changes to settings, press and hold the LOCK button until the lock icon appears on the display.

Entretien
