Before using your glucometer for the first time, please follow these steps:

Operating Instructions: How to Test Blood Glucose

Follow these steps for accurate blood glucose testing:

Adjust the penetration depth by rotating the adjustable tip. Pull back the handle until it clicks, indicating it's ready for use.

Ketone Alert Feature

Your Dr Trust Glucometer is equipped with a Ketone Alert feature. This function provides an early warning if your ketone levels are rising or are out of balance in your blood. A ketone warning will be displayed if your ketone level reaches over 15 mol/L.

Monitoring ketones is crucial as elevated levels can lead to Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious condition requiring immediate medical attention. If you receive a ketone warning, it is advised to consult with your doctor promptly.

Memory and Data Management

The Dr Trust Glucometer can store up to 1000 blood glucose readings, allowing you to track your levels over time. To review past measurements, press the 'M' button when the meter is off. Each press will cycle through previous results, displaying the reading, date, and time.

Entretien et soins
