5. Configuration et installation

The Remock PRO RLP4W is designed for easy installation on various door types, including wood, metal, and glass, without the need for complex wiring. Precision is crucial for optimal performance.

5.1. Installation de la batterie

1. Locate the battery compartment on the main lock unit.
2. Insert the 2 AA alkaline batteries provided, ensuring correct polarity.

5.2. Mounting the Lock Unit

1. Choose an appropriate location on the inside of your door, ensuring sufficient clearance for the lock mechanism and strike plate.
2. Position the fixing plate and mark the drilling points accurately. Precision is essential for smooth operation.

5.3. Couplage de la télécommande

1. With the lock unit powered on, press the pairing button on the lock (refer to the lock unit diagram in the full manual for exact location).
2. Within a few seconds, press any button on each remote control you wish to pair.
3. The lock will provide an audible confirmation (e.g., a beep) for each successfully paired remote.
4. A maximum of 16 remote controls can be paired with one lock unit.

6. Mode d'emploi

6.1. Utilisation des télécommandes

The Remock PRO RLP4W is primarily operated using the provided remote controls. The operating range is typically 5 to 10 meters.

6.2. Emergency Manual Opening (from inside)

In case of an emergency or if the electronic system fails, the lock can be opened manually from the inside. Locate the emergency opening button/lever on the lock unit and operate it as indicated in the full product manual.

6.3. Advanced Access Options (Optional)

The Remock PRO RLP4W is compatible with additional Remock accessories for expanded access control:

• Remock NET Mobile Application: Allows remote operation from anywhere in the world via a mobile device. Requires the separate Remock NET Mobile Connection Kit.
• Remock CODE Biometric Keypad: Provides access via code, fingerprint, or RFID card. Requires the separate Remock CODE biometric keypad.

7. Battery Management and Maintenance

7.1. Lock Unit Batteries

• The main lock unit uses 2 AA alkaline batteries.
• Expected battery life is 8 to 10 months, based on 20 open/close cycles per day.
• When battery levels are low, the lock will emit an audible signal and an LED will flash to alert you.
• In a critically low battery state, the lock will perform a final automatic unlock using its remaining power reserve to prevent you from being locked out. Replace batteries immediately upon warning.

• Remote controls use easily replaceable CR2032 batteries.
• Battery replacement for remotes does not require re-pairing with the lock.

7.3. Reprogramming Remote Controls
