Configuration et installation
1. Localisation
Installez le thermostat à environ 1.5 mètre du sol, dans un endroit bien aéré, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil, des courants d'air et des sources de chaleur. Évitez de le placer près des fenêtres, des portes ou des bouches d'aération, car cela pourrait fausser les mesures de température.
2. Mise hors tension
Before beginning installation, ensure the power to your HVAC system is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
3. Retirez l'ancien thermostat
Carefully remove your old thermostat from the wall. Take a picture of the existing wiring connections before disconnecting any wires. Label each wire with the terminal designation it was connected to.
4. Installez le nouveau thermostat
- Séparez le couvercle avant de la base du thermostat.
- Position the thermostat base on the wall, feeding the wires through the opening.

- Secure the thermostat base to the wall using the provided screws and anchors.

5. Câblage
Connect the wires to the corresponding terminals on the T4900 thermostat base. Refer to the wiring diagram specific to your HVAC system type (e.g., conventional, heat pump). The T4900 supports 4 Heat Stages & 2 Cool Staget.
Important: If only 4 wires are available for installation, the Venstar Add-A-Wire accessory (PN# ACC0410) may be required. Consult the Add-A-Wire installation instructions for details.
6. Attach Front Cover and Power On
Once wiring is complete, carefully attach the front cover to the thermostat base. Restore power to your HVAC system at the circuit breaker.
7. Configuration initiale
Upon first power-up, the thermostat may guide you through initial setup steps, including system type selection and basic date/time settings. Follow the on-screen prompts.
