2. Installation

2.2 Installation du matériel
Before beginning, ensure the DVR is powered off. This DVR does not include a hard drive. It supports a 3.5" SATA hard disk drive (HDD) with capacities ranging from 350GB to 6TB. Install the HDD according to the instructions provided with your specific hard drive model.

3.2 Enregistrement
The DVR supports 24/7 non-stop video recordings. With advanced H.265+ video format, it offers smooth live streaming without latency and extended recording times. Compared to H.264 DVRs with the same HDD, H.265+ saves up to 60% storage space.

The DVR features customizable motion detection. You can define specific areas within the camera's view where motion will trigger an alert. When motion events occur in these customized areas, the DVR will push app notifications and send email alerts.

3.4 Lecture
The DVR supports remote and local playback of recorded footage. The smart playback feature, combined with face record/playback, allows you to quickly find specific video segments based on detected faces or events.

3.5 Enregistrement audio
The DVR supports audio recording, even if your connected cameras do not have built-in microphones.
4. Entretien
4.1 Gestion du stockage
The DVR utilizes H.265+ video compression technology, which significantly reduces storage requirements compared to older H.264 systems. This allows for longer recording times with the same hard drive capacity. The system supports a 3.5" SATA HDD up to 6TB. The DVR also features an overwrite function, automatically deleting the oldest footage to make space for new recordings once the hard drive is full.

4.2 Nettoyage
To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the exterior of the DVR with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
