1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of the ADJ WiFLY EXR HEX5 IP LED Lighting Fixture. Please read these instructions thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and to prevent damage or injury.

The ADJ WiFLY EXR HEX5 IP is an IP65 outdoor-rated, battery-powered wireless DMX LED Par fixture featuring ADJ's WiFLY EXR extended range wireless DMX technology. It is designed for professional lighting applications requiring versatility and robust performance in various environments.

2. Consignes de sécurité

Always observe the following safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury.

4. Installation

4.1 Déballage

Carefully unpack the fixture and check for any damage during shipping. Ensure all components are present. If any damage is observed or parts are missing, contact your dealer immediately.

4.2 Montage

4.3 Connexion électrique et charge

Connect the provided power cable to the fixture's power input and a suitable power outlet. The internal Lithium Ion battery will begin charging. The unit can operate while charging. Ensure the charging port cover is sealed when not charging, especially in outdoor environments.

4.4 Connexion DMX (en option)

For wired DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the fixture's DMX input. For wireless DMX, ensure your ADJ WiFLY Transceiver (sold separately) is properly configured and within range.

5.3 Wireless DMX (WiFLY EXR)

The built-in WiFLY EXR system allows for wireless DMX control. Ensure the fixture is linked to a compatible ADJ WiFLY Transceiver. The extended range provides reliable wireless communication up to 2,500 feet in optimal conditions.

6. Entretien

6.1 Nettoyage

Regular cleaning of the lens and exterior casing is recommended to maintain optimal light output and appearance. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Do not use abrasive materials or solvents.

For long-term storage, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50-70% and store the unit in a cool, dry place. Recharge the battery every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge and extend its lifespan. Do not store in extreme temperatures.
