Installation

1. Connexion électrique

Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC IN jack on the unit and then to a wall outlet. Alternatively, for portable use, insert 6 R14 (size C) batteries (not supplied) into the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Configuration de l'antenne

For FM reception, extend the telescopic antenna fully and adjust its direction for optimal signal. For AM reception, the unit has a built-in ferrite bar antenna. Rotate the unit itself for best AM reception.

  2. Appuyez sur le FONCTION button repeatedly to select the desired source (CD, FM, AM, AUX).

2. Lecture de CD

  1. Open the CD compartment lid and place a CD with the label side up. Close the lid securely.
  2. Appuyez sur le FONCTION bouton pour sélectionner « CD ».
  3. Appuyez sur le LECTURE/PAUSE (►/−−) bouton pour démarrer la lecture.

3. Radio Operation (FM/AM/Wide FM)

  1. Appuyez sur le FONCTION button to select "FM" or "AM".
  2. Appuyez sur le RÉGLAGE +/- boutons pour régler manuellement une station.
  3. Pour rechercher automatiquement la prochaine station disponible, appuyez longuement sur le bouton. RÉGLAGE +/- buttons until the frequency starts changing.
  4. Presetting Favorite Stations:
    • Syntonisez la station souhaitée.
    • Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé l'un des FAVORITE RADIO STATION (1, 2, or 3) buttons until "PRESET" appears on the display. The station is now saved.
    • Pour rappeler une station préréglée, appuyez simplement sur la touche correspondante. FAVORITE RADIO STATION bouton.

4. Entrée AUX

  1. Connectez un périphérique audio externe (par exemple, un smartphone, un lecteur MP3) au ENTRÉE AUDIO jack on the unit using a stereo mini cable (not supplied).
  2. Appuyez sur le FONCTION button to select "AUX".
  3. Start playback on your connected external device. The audio will be output through the ZS-S40 speakers.
  4. Adjust the volume using the unit's VOLUME +/- buttons and/or the volume control on your external device.

5. Minuterie de veille

  1. Lorsque l'appareil est allumé, appuyez sur DORMIR button repeatedly to cycle through the available sleep timer settings: 90 min → 60 min → 30 min → 15 min → OFF.
