3. Installation

Follow these steps to set up your SPC Elegance ID telephone:

1. Installation de la batterie : The telephone requires 3 AAA batteries for certain features like display backlight and memory retention. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the phone and insert 3 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
2. Connectez le combiné : Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the jack labeled with a handset icon on the side or back of the telephone base.

4.1 Passer et recevoir des appels

• Faire un appel: Décrochez le combiné ou appuyez sur la Haut-parleur Appuyez sur le bouton. Composez le numéro souhaité à l'aide du clavier.
• Pour recevoir un appel : Lorsque le téléphone sonne, décrochez ou appuyez sur la touche Haut-parleur bouton pour répondre.

4.2 Fonction haut-parleur

The telephone features a built-in speakerphone for hands-free communication.

• Appuyez sur le Haut-parleur button to activate hands-free mode during a call or to dial a number without lifting the handset.

4.3 Contrôle du volume et fonction Muet

• Contrôle du volume : Utilisez le Volume haut/bas buttons (usually indicated by arrows) during a call to adjust the listening volume.
• Micro muet : Appuyez sur le Muet button to temporarily disable your microphone during a call. The other party will not hear you. Press it again to unmute.

4.4 Phonebook and Call Management

• Répertoire: The phone has a capacity for 70 phonebook entries. Refer to the on-screen menu for instructions on adding, editing, and deleting contacts.

6. Dépannage
